Water is essential for life. For years citizens of our country have believed that the water in their homes, schools, and communities is safe for consumption. We began our mission by  conducting an investigation of the water quality in NJ schools. We learned:

  • School districts  located in lower socioeconomic areas and with a higher minority percentage have a statistically significant higher number of positive lead readings.

  • The quality of schools’ drinking water is a National Crisis.

  • The actionable level of many schools is above the 15 ppb level set by the EPA.

  • There is no federal mandate for testing the quality of water in our Nation’s schools. Only 25 States and the District of Columbia have school drinking water testing programs. Out of the 25 States, only 8 States and the District of Columbia mandate testing while the other 16 State programs are voluntary.

  • Many of the States that do have testing programs in their schools are still  failing our children. Their programs do not ensure that the water is safe!

  • Lead is not the only contaminant in water that can have a negative impact on a person’s health.

  • The Water Crisis is GLOBAL! We were shocked to learn that so many families across our Nation and around the world do not have easy access to water, clean or not!

Our Mission is to educate the citizens of the world about

THE GLOBAL WATER CRISIS!
